2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The data is processed in a data centre in Nuremberg (Germany) and thus within the European Union. The hosting provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, stable and efficient provision of this online service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
3. Server log files
When you visit this website, the web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files): the page or file accessed, date and time of access, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individual persons. The server’s technical logs are overwritten in regular cycles and are generally no longer available after 30 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website.
4. Cookies
This website does not use marketing, advertising or statistics cookies. Only a technically necessary session cookie of the content management system is set. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This cookie contains no profiling data and expires at the latest when you close your browser. As no cookies requiring consent are used, this website does not need a cookie consent banner.
5. Contact by phone or e-mail
If you contact me by phone or e-mail, your details are processed exclusively for handling your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Enquiry form
If you use the enquiry form on this website, the details you enter (name, e-mail address, optionally phone number and topic, and your message) are sent to me by e-mail and additionally stored in the website’s content management system until your enquiry has been dealt with; you receive an acknowledgement of receipt at the e-mail address you provided. The legal basis is the consent you give in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future, and the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your IP address is not stored when the form is submitted. To protect against automated submissions (spam), the form uses a security check that runs entirely on our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7. No web analytics, no tracking
No audience measurement and no analysis of your usage behaviour takes place on this website. Neither Google Analytics nor any comparable analytics, advertising or tracking service is used. No usage profiles are created, no cross-site tracking takes place and no automated decision-making is carried out.

No social media plugins are embedded on this website. References to external websites are simple links: only when you click such a link is a connection to the respective provider established. The respective provider is responsible for the processing on the linked website.
9. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts. Likewise, no map services, video platforms or other third-party content are embedded.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of your browser starts with “https://” and a padlock symbol is displayed.
11. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Your data is only passed on where this is necessary to fulfil contractual or legal obligations. The recipient is the hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH as processor (see section 2). No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.
